Friends of Burhill School (FoBS) also have for sale a selection of good quality second-hand items of uniform.  They hold regular sales and can be contacted on burhilluniform@gmail.com

  • Jewellery: jewellery is not allowed in school.  We prefer no earrings at all but, if necessary, small flat stud earrings are permitted.
  • Coats: please avoid any expensive brands for coats - plain designs are preferred.
  • Hair bands: any hair bands or scrunchies should be red in colour.
  • Stationery: all stationery is provided in school.

Please note that Burhill fleeces remain an optional item and should only be worn outdoors. These are not an alternative to wearing a school jumper.

Please remember to label all clothing and items clearly!

Warm weather option (Summer term and first half of Autumn term only)

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Uniform from Autumn 2 (After Autumn half term)
  • Red and white summer school dress or culottes (available from any retailer)
  • White polo shirt (available from any retailer)
  • Red knit v neck jumper or red cardigan (Branded versions are available from AlleyCatz)
  • Plain white or grey socks (no branding visible) /red/ grey tights (available from any retailer)
  • White polo shirt (available from any retailer)
  • Grey pinafore dress, skirt, trousers or shorts (available from any retailer)
  • Red knit v neck jumper or red cardigan (Branded versions are available from AlleyCatz)
  • Plain white or grey socks (no branding visible) /red/ grey tights (available from any retailer)
  • Sensible black school shoes not trainers (available from any retailer)
    Examples of permitted school shoes include black leather lace-ups, slip-ons or slip-ons with straps. Examples of non-permitted shoes include over the ankle boots, open-toe sandals, canvas pump style shoes, or trainer styles.
  • Wellies – Reception classes only (to be left in school)
  • Optional: Burhill fleece (for outdoor wear only) - also available in showerproof version
  • Optional: Burhill cap (available from AlleyCatz)
  • Optional: Burhill rucksack (available from AlleyCatz)

PE Kit:

  • Burhill PE bag (available from AlleyCatz)

  • Optional: Plain black jogging bottoms (for colder weather) available from any retailer
